Magpie of Space

 We're back! After a sojourn as a publisher our writer-artist has returned and here is the latest Magpie of Space (almost weekly, we trust). Whatever happened to Lt Hazard? Last time we saw him, he had accidentally miniaturised himself and was lost somewhere in the Engineering Lab. NEXT EPISODE>>

I do have the plot for the next one and it will happen soon.  The reason for the delay is that I have an exciting project that I'm working on with my comics chum Stevie White (Peter Pan and also Stref from Viz). Chief Dina McPhail addresses her robot crew members, accompanied by Dr Zoe Scope. The robots look a little uneasy. Translation notes for non-Glaswegians follow. Dina is from Glasgow, a descendent of a whole line of McPhail ship's engineers. While Dr Scope simmers over the inaction of the Station Commander, Captain Bob Bold has coffee with his Chief Engineer, Dina McPhail, and Logistics Officer, Mike Maseko. Mike is in reminiscing mood. Dr Zoe Scope has contacted the crew of Way Station AE104 in order to request from the station commander permission for the crew of the Magpie to access the charging station. She assumed a reasonable approach would get results. However she has never met anyone like Commodore Comfort before. Professor Poot Poot meets her in the corridor. What will Captain Bold say? The SRV Magpie is running short on fuel and supplies but must get to the Interplanetary Science Union Conference being held on Epsilon Eridani 4. They approach Way Station AE104, the only refuelling point on their course.
